For nearly 40 years Dudak Custom Kitchens has been serving people in the Marion, greater Cedar Rapids, and surrounding areas.
Richard Dudak started out in 1980 as a general contractor working from his home. As business grew, in 1985 Richard moved to a new, bigger location building cabinets in a shop on 35th Street in Cedar Rapids. The business continued to expand, eventually outgrowing that location, and moved into the current location at 789 49th Street in Marion. We opened our showroom and began specializing in Solid Surface Staron counter tops while continuing the tradition of excellence in custom kitchen and bath design, install, and remodeling. We custom build high quality solid wood cabinets, drawers, and doors that are built to last.
Today in addition, we build a wide range of other custom woodworking products. We have experience in everything from custom bookcases, entertainment centers, window and door trim, and numerous other projects. We provide in-house sanding with our 37" wide belt sander, which creates a flat and even flow across the wood face. All products are finished in our own finish booth, where we are able to color-match existing woodwork or create a custom color all your own.
Our Solid Surface Staron® counter tops have become a very important part of our business, adding a modern style and class to any kitchen. We set ourselves apart by being able to make a completely seamless counter top of any size that is scratch resistant and repairable. These high-quality counter tops come in a variety of different colors, textured appearances, and either a high gloss or matte finish.
